"This hotel only has 3 parking places for the entire hotel! It Does Not list that on the property details. I am not able to park and walk the mile for the parking lots they suggested. They mentioned parking on the street closer to the hotel so we drove around and around the streets near the hotel for nearly 3 hours We finally gave up and rented another hotel with parking on site Pacific View Did Not refund our money They told us quote, “It was not their problem” that we could not find parking and again they would reimburse us"

"Another perfect stay in Paradise! Pacific Terrace Hotel is the perfect hidden beach gem. Located right on Pacific Beach overlooking the ocean, it's a perfect place to relax or explore. Choosing the full ocean view rooms makes the experience even better, as you can sit on your balcony and watch the waves all day. The rooms also overlook the beautiful pool and terrace area, which is the place to be to hang out, eat and socialize.The steps down to the beach are literally steps away. The hotel is situated on the Pacific Beach boardwalk and is close to many many restaurants and bars, within walking distance. No vehicle is actually needed if you're staying in this area. Check out the hotels beach cam so you can experience the paradise. This hotel is always amazingly clean and the staff in all areas are helpful and accommodating. The rooms are beautiful and upgraded giving that perfect beach ambiance. I've been staying here yearly since 2019 and have not had a bad experience yet. Once you come you will not want to leave and this will become a regular and coveted part of your yearly vacation destinations."

"I would suggest not staying at this hotel if you can help it. The woman at the desk was very friendly and they seem to be keeping the surfaces, sheets, toilet/shower quite clean. However the property is severely run down and in massive need of remodeling/refreshing in every way. The room only had one chair in it and a weird, tall metal bar stool at that. So in the room, you had to be in the bed, basically. The bed was adequate, just a mattress on a platform. There were decent working windows with screens which was a bonus. Everything in the place, walls, tile, moulding, etc…needs to be replaced or heavily refreshed. There was a strangely functioning microwave, a working refrigerator, and a coffee maker that we didn’t try using…and some strange instant coffee packet? So, no amenities. The tv worked fine and was streaming. Ac worked fine. There was a small outside eating area with tables, chairs, bbq,etc all of which were super old, unclean, and they area totally unkempt. On top of all this, the noise from the road is completely overwhelming. I had a white noise machine, the AC on, my own air purifier, and earplugs (my own) and the road noise was still very disturbing. At the least they should supply earplugs to the rooms. It’s very difficult to enter and exit the parking lot onto a busy street and visibility is limited due to fencing from some construction project that takes up the entirety of the center of the property. This motel is a couple steps below a Motel 6."

"We’ve been staying here for years and it was reasonably priced and clean. Beach is half a block away and the parking is included in the price. We stayed here this week and it is no longer reasonable price wise and they were renovating the property so there was not ample parking and it was noisy because of renovations. The property is worn down so it needs renovation but our room was small and run down and not reasonably priced so I will be looking elsewhere when I visit relatives in San Diego."

"Not sure I could say enough. A welcome drink, included towel, beach chairs, and bikes to borrow, a beautiful terrace with great views of the beach, room service from an amazing menu of the restaurant down stairs. The plunge pool was down, but I didn’t even mind that, given how good the other services were. It being right on PB you could go anywhere in the area for entertainment. Thanks to the staff there for great service!"
