"We love this Salado location. The nature views, stores and food within walking distance are great. I wasn’t given the room that I reserved, pool side king bed. Also, on the second night, the AC didn’t work well and was very uncomfortable throughout the night. "

"I love it that we did not have to pay for parking. The parking was included in the rental, which was very good. Also, the cleanliness of the property was very well very well lit up love the lights and everything and the rooms were very comfortable and roomy very spacious."

"My stay was good. The staff kept clean towels daily for me and kept my room clean. My only issue was sharing a room with the bugs. I killed three roaches and that was the first day. I almost went to the office to complain but tiredness got the best of me. Maybe in Texas it's not a big deal to see one or two gladly that was all I saw. The shower however was horrible. The water went down VERY slowly and the water shot out like a fire hose at times. Overall a basic room that needs updating."

"I come into town regularly and always stay here. The staff is helpful and always available. The parking area is well-lit, and I feel like my car is safe. It's in a great location, just outside the parking lot of HEB (large grocery store), and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are fairly clean, but not perfect. Wi-Fi works great. There is no coffee. At all. None in the rooms or in the lobby. I buy a large cup of coffee the night before, store it in the mini fridge,...

"The room was clean but the furniture, sink and bathroom looks like it is original for this motel. I like the central location that is off the beaten path. HEB and McDonald's is about ten minutes away."
