The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the Belvedere Palace. The excellent 71 tram service into the city centre runs by the front of hotel with a stop almost outside, so it takes only a few minutes to reach the Opera House and city centre. I was excited to visit this brand new property as soon as I saw the ad online and it did not fail to impress. Absolutely gorgeous property, inside out. Rooms stylish very comfy and practical as well. Lobby area, cafe restaurant and the new opened bar will definitely be a meeting point for non guests as well. I’d like to note that the building itself adds beauty to the area, which is something that often does not occur. Highly recommended and will definitely be back!

A friend was staying in the Wombat Hostel close by (she said it was also a great place to stay & praised it to the hilt) so I needed somewhere close by. This Holiday Inn fulfilled all my needs. I had a quiet 3rd floor room at the back, not much of a view but I didn't expect one. The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke English well, thankfully! The breakfast choice was excellent and the hotel very clean. I stayed six nights and would happily stay there again.

The hotel was perfectly positioned for us as it was just up from the train station - this made it easier to catch trains for onward journeys and subways to parts of Vienna that were further away. It is a bit of a walk from the ‘main’ part of Vienna though. What made this hotel particularly great for us was the free bike hire. We could easily get around for free and see much more of Vienna than we could have done on foot. They were brilliant! Room was comfortable and clean, we were on the top...
