"Location was good. The view outside of the window was awful, practically a wall and we couldn't even see the sky. We asked to be moved to a different room but they claimed the hotel was fully booked. There was no phone in the room, no black tea bags (although this was available from reception) and our safe didn't work even after we went back to reception to get the instructions. Air conditioning is not switched on at this time of year so the room was very hot. "

"Biggest plus: location and clean rooms. Improvements needed: Check in service, while swift was lacking hospitality. Rooms are very small and had the shower facing the bedroom. Almost zero room on sink counter. Restaurant (Gulasche & Sohn) was very good for dinner and breakfast."

"The room was clean, spacious, warm (we stayed in January) and well equipped. We were able to check in earlier than we thought which was a bonus. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice and staff always helpful and friendly. Hotel situated about a 10 minute walk to the tram station with a direct route to the centre. Nothing to fault during our stay."

"The hotel was not a 4 star. Not the usual amenities that you would expect. The bathroom had hair stuck on the back of the door. Body lotion empty and not refilled even when we left the top off. The paintwork needed redoing. The bar shut really early so could not use it. The reception staff overall were good apart from one receptionist who did not provide good service at all."
