"the staff was friendly, the room clean but generic.. bathroom somewhat outdated but ok View of harbor spectacular, had a frig and Keurig in the room plus an iron and ironing board. but no safe. Bed very comfortable, Air conditioning worked well. No room service but had restaurant on the property. Parking lot at the hotel and location right on the harbor and convenient to shops and restaurants. Only complaint would be the tv.. very limited shows, mostly local stations.. no cable news or shows.. an old hotel and a little tired but All in all , a good value for the money. Great location!"

"Well located for down town and great to have parking on site (valet but good). A fairly new hotel, good accommodation, bar/restaurant and close to various watering holes and food. Would certainly consider next time in Newport."

"Great location, easy valet parking, small but nice rooms, staff very good, all very clean. Only minor drawback - can hear into hallways/next or above rooms easily so some late nighters can definitely wake you up."

"Staff was very cordial. Room was comfortable. Bathroom tub was not handicap assessable. However was a sauna tub if this is important for your stay. We were in walking distance to Thames Street. There is no room service during your stay. Our stay suited our needs."

"Tim at the front desk was excellent. He gave us lots of great information about sites to visit in Newport. Paula was excellent as well. She moved us quickly from room 200 which has a lot of street noise and was also great to work with."

"We had a nice long weekend at the hotel. The staff was friendly, the breakfasts were good, parking was free and very convenient. The location is a short walk to both restaurants and shops. My only recommendation to the hotel is to address the musty odor that is overwhelming when you walk into the lobby. Maybe consider a signature scent of some type? Everything was in order and kept, but the smell made me feel otherwise. There are some minor repairs to the room we were staying in that need addressing. The bathroom seemed a bit worn, otherwise good little hotel that is quiet."
