Excellent hotel and staff. Location may not be ideal for less mobile due to steep approach path/ roads but otherwise totally recommended

I picked this hotel due to previous reviews and the closeness to some bars and istikal street and a train station. On arrival we were lucky enough to get the top duplex which suited is for the extra size. Check in was very friendly and efficient. The staff even offered to arrange a tour for us along bosphorus river was a nice touch. Complimentary water was also provided. If i return to Istanbul i will definitely look to stay at The Story Pera again.

We had an amazing stay, the staff were all very helpful, the breakfast was first class, the chefs were so nice e and kind, really a very welcoming atmosphere. We made use of the swimming pool and the gym..all around would not hesitate come back k again.

This was my first time staying at GLK Hotel in Istanbul, and we had a wonderful experience. Amiral Palace Hotel is a must for anybody visiting Istanbul. The property is located in the old town of Istanbul and is walking distance from the major sites of Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. Friendly staff and great location

I had a great stay at the hotel, very conviently situated as it was near the main sites. The terrace restaurant had fantastic views of the surrounding areas. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Brilliant hotel, excellent staff, the staff at the door were brilliant. Cannot fault this hotel, has woman only swimming which is great as no hotel as i am aware off has this facility. The architecture, the welcome drinks and dates, all absolutely brilliant, will come back again for sure.

The Hotel is beautifully designed and well planned with every amenity we needed for our stay. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and many other tourist spots. Tram line is also very close by. Staff went the extra mile and were available 24hrs a day to help us with everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely use Fer again.

Great stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the ferry station is only about 10 minutes away, making it easy to explore the city. This hotel is a real find - two minutes walk from the heart of Istanbul's main sites in the old town, easy walking distance of all the bazaars and loads of restaurants and bars. Great location, excellent service and brilliant restaurants. We stayed for four nights and had dinners in all the restaurants. Food quality (from Turkish to Japanese) is top notch. Hotel staff are always attentive and caring. In a nutshell, it is one of the best hotels we stayed in.

Very nice hotel. Extremely well located, close to İstiklal street, Şişane metro station. Lots of eating places close by. Staff very helpful. I had chosen a superior room which was extremely spacious and comfortable. My only criticism would be that their breakfast was unremarkable. Having got used to other hotels having a widespread breakfast buffet, the breakfast at this hotel was quite sparse.
