"The apartment was a bit dirty and had maintenance items, like doors and wooden panels, behind the sofa in the living room, which was unappealing. There was also considerable damage to the shower doors, room doors, and the walls of the apartment. In my opinion, they should perform a general maintenance check before renting out the property. On the positive side, the location was in the heart of Madrid, with almost all tourist attractions within walking distance."

"Remember when you flew commercial and persuaded the captain to shorten the flight delay to satisfy the narrow 4-hour check-in window of your guest house? No? Me neither. I communicated and updated regularly with the property but with 2 hours of flight delay, I couldn't do better than arrive 10 minutes late. They inisisted on charging me almost the full amount for an extra night. They claimed, falsely, this was listed here on Expedia...it is/was not. After being so rigid, I thought perhaps they...

"checkin was rocky. host must meet at front door to let in, did not respond at first. expedia customer service contacted. once met, very friendly, gave personal contact number. room is small, tidy, climate controlled. shared nathroom not an issue. good shower plenty of hot water. location is fantastic. las huertas lively day and night. will stay there again next time if i visit madrid again."

"Decent place for the location and the price. Don’t book if you are a light sleeper as the rooms are not sound proof in any way you will hear the other guests walk in late people having conversations outside like there isn’t even a wall. Room was clean and had a nice kitchen. Though the host gave me a ring of three keys and didn’t even bother to show me how to open the room and main door which proved to be difficult."
