Well positioned from the Subway for to/from JFK and rest of Manhattan. Helpful, friendly staff who make you feel both welcome and a bit special.

Stones throw from Times Sq so perfect for a four day theatre visit. Had a 44th floor Deluxe King room, facing south, with a partial view of Times Sq. Huge windows made it bright all day, but there are effective blackout blinds at night and there’s virtually no noise. Pretty spacious for one, spotlessly clean, and the fridge for supplies rather than annoying mini bar gets a thumbs up from me. We had a fantastic few days at the Westin. The staff were so helpful. It was central for everything, especially the subway. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever experienced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. Good location for Mid town. The resort fee is ridiculous & just an extra charge disguised. Room was nice & the hotel took into account my requests. Staff very nice. Breakfast fine

We arrived a little after 3pm, and had a lovely greeting from staff, but our room wasn’t ready so we had to wait. We booked and paid through Expedia… an Empire via room with living space. Please note that the hotel does not offer this type of room. None of their Empire View rooms have the separate living room area. The Empire view rooms do give a great view of the Empire State Building but their ‘living room’ is a tiny space with a chaise and a TV. Management were excellent with us and moved us...

Fantastic location as the hotel is close to subway station so can easily get anywhere, but it’s in a more peaceful part of town. There are loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops around. Our room (two double beds) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Cozy hotel, nice styling, great rooftop bar, comfy big bed. Amazing location. Would stay again. Very small rooms, so not for all people. Rooftop bar had different (less) opening hours than advertised.

A lovely hotel - nice elegant good sized room. Location isn’t for everyone but I like being out of the craziness of midtown.

Such a great stay here. Right in midtown Manhattan in the heart of the action but at a really reasonable price. The room was small but immaculate. I requested a higher room with a view and the hotel did exactly that for us - the 21st floor with a beautiful view to wake up to. I would definitely recommend staying at CIVILIAN and I would definitely stay here again.
