"There was a significant amount of construction taking place throughout our stay. The gym was unavailable for large portions of both days, and the mezzanine level (including the bar/restaurant) was undergoing flooring work during the weekend. The staff, however, were exceptional—kind, helpful, and accommodating. At one point when the elevator stopped working, an employee personally guided us through a service area so we could avoid taking the stairs, which we truly appreciated. While the service was 10/10, the price we paid did not reflect the condition of the hotel during our stay."

"Convenient "

"The hotel is dated and shabby. Having been to the property several times since it opened (40 some years ago) I can attest that the property has not been updated since then. Furniture in the rooms had wear holes on the arms with stuffing showing through. Bathroom sinks were cracked. Bath tubs needed resurfacing. Wooden furniture was chipped and cracked. Tile floors in the lobby had cracks and holes as if struck by a hammer. The carpets in the room were vacuumed a total of 1 time in an 8 day stay. Housekeeping needs to be requested, and even then was hit or miss. When we first walked into the bathroom there was trash on the floor from the previous occupant. They have the audacity to charge a mandatory $75 a night fee for 'incidentals' even though my quoted price stated 'incl taxes and fees'. Luggage carts were never available making it difficult to get things from your car to the room. For the rates they charge you per night there are better options, possibly at better prices."

"Breakfast credit per person for continental breakfast or cooked to order breakfast. Front desk staff engaging and welcoming. Rooms cleaned daily. Immediate response to a minor problem in room and resolved quickly."
