"Our experience with this property was unacceptable from the start. When we arrived, the host had lost our reservation—we had to call them just to gain access. Once inside, we found the house in a filthy and unsafe state. A full bag of garbage sat on the kitchen floor, a dirty mattress leaned against the house, and a bottle full of cigarette butts was outside.
The cleaner admitted, “Oh, I forgot to clean,” swapped out some sheets, and left. But the space remained unsanitary—greasy dishes, dusty...
"It's an ok hotel if you are visiting Excel for an event but the hotel needs a make over and especially the public area is worn down. My room was ok and the restaurant was ok too. There is nothing else in the area so I recommend Excel north where there are more restaurants."
"Rooms, service, location, cleanliness..its a 5/5 on all! Would highly recommend! And a special tip of hat to Azad who was at the reception, extremely kind and helpful"

Holiday Inn Express London-Royal Docks, Docklands by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"we stayed here for one night as we were attending an event at the O2. We had a lovely stay and no complaints. The hotel is easily accessible via tube, DLR and bus, and the breakfast was good value. "
"Ideally situated for visiting the Royal Observatory, National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, etc. by way of a pleasant walk across the heath and through Greenwich Park. Also, the hotel is a short bus ride away from the O2 Arena, as well as Blackheath train station within 5 minutes walk, for access to central London. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is very good and offers plenty of choice, the evening meals are excellent in a relaxed setting. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. A great place to stay!"
