This was a cut above the average airport hotel, with attention to detail in the rooms and great service.

Excellent accommodation but there is unfortunately no shuttle service from the airport. A taxi is therefore required. That can be quite expensive.

Excellent time staying at the Double Tree. I had the perfect room as Table Mountain was right in front of me. Lovely attentive staff members and peace environment oh of course delicious food. I'll definitely be staying again perfect location and free bus to the Waterfront V & A.

What a gem of a hotel. Handy for the cricket ground and it was only about R150 for a Uber into the V&A.

The hotel is in a very good location. away from the disruption of the city. Convenient underground secure parking, friendly staff and fantastic views. The breakfast selection was great, with lots of variety and all well cooked. i would recommend this to any that wish to stay in a convenient location in a lovely area.

The hotel is about 20 minutes by uber from the town which was perfect. Right by the beach and also an excellent 30 minute walk along the beach to the nearest town and bars. There is also a good restaurant/bar about 5 minutes round the corner. The hotel itself was brilliant. Room 61 at the hotel is particularly charming, situated over two floors, and with its own secluded rear garden. It has a very 'homely' feel to it. One evening, as we left our room to dine in the hotel restaurant, the door security latch fell off (I know it's not supposed too...). We placed it to one side, and I was going to report this the following day. To my surprise, the security latch had been replaced by the time we returned later that evening. Brilliant hotel. The Airstreams on the roof are brilliant. Romantic, charming and just plain fun. We stayed in them for 4 nights and then tried a room downstairs for a 5th night and that was just lovely too. Great location, really central, really buzzing but the rooms are silent sanctuary whine you need to sleep. Modern, clean, well equipped with spacious rooms. Friendly staff. On the more expensive side though. I chose the hotel because it was closest to a conference venue.

There is no air-conditioning in either of the bedrooms only in the living room. Having AC in the bedroom would be a great improvement.
