"Loved my short stay, the only thing missing is a pool!! Beautiful ascetics, every piece of furniture and every corner is beautiful done. The vibrant colours and lush furnishings. Really lovely friendly staff, food was delicious, bed super comfty with Egyptian cotton, they felt like 1600 threat count! Lovely bathroom. "The Mount Nelson is truly a special hotel. It's physical location affords you an incredible view of Table Mountain. Rooms were spacious and luxuriously appointed with huge bathrooms. The service was outstanding, particularly rom Muchi the concierge who was very helpful in assisting us with planning excursions and hard-to-snag dinner reservations. "We had a wonderful stay at the Pepper Club Hotel. Regrettably only 1 night and had I known how nice it would have been, would have spent more nights. Copa the in-house restaurant was a great experience for dinner too. Luzuko our waiter was fantastic, plus the food was delicious! The hotel was a nice spa, and the pool area is great and a nice large sauna too! "

"We really enjoyed our stay, it is in an old house that has character. The owners are really friendly and we enjoyed good conversations with them. We even could use their breakfast room one day when it was too rainy to use their roof terrace. If you like older properties with little nooks and crannies and some steps here and there and nice fixed up rooms then this is your place. Lots of plants around as well. On the whole: good stay, we can recommend the place."

"This review will not do justice to the wonderful gem we found at the Dorp. A most unlikely spot as you climb the very steep hill but an oasis of pleasure awaits you.
