"It’s an upgraded motel… that’s not to say it’s a bad place, but that is what it is. We feel like the pictures were bit misleading, and tried to make it out to be more than it really is. Bed was comfortable and it’s well maintained and clean."

"Excellent location walkable to beautiful La Jolla Shores beach. Room was clean enough, but worn. Self parking was handy, so we didn't have to wait for valet. We originally were assigned a room overlooking the pool, but there is loud music playing all day from 10am until 8pm. Thankfully, they were able to move us to another room further away from the music."

"Can't beat being on the beach but there was no advance notice of all the construction on property disrupting the ocean sounds and that the pool was closed. Bit of a bummer for the kids."
