The hotel and service are wonderful. Muky cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. Excellent service helping with booking anything you want to do. The beach is beautiful and the views are amazing. Many years, Banyan tree always look after us well. Extremely helpful staff, always make us feel welcomed. Great facilities. Mom and me enjoyed the yoga class. Dad enjoyed the beautiful beach. Thank you, banyan tree, gave us a wonderful quite family time.

Best place to stay in Koh Samui. Fantastic rooms, hotel immaculate, staff so friendly, great choice of breakfast, Thai, European , British, and a la carte. The hot items for breakfast could be warmer though. Great beach location and the only place to stay in this area of Koh Samui

Our family of three (husband, myself and 7 year old daughter), have just returned from an almost two week stay at Kimpton Kitalay. We had an incredible time at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and we loved the nightly treats whether it’s a face mask or toffees. There is always an attendant in your block of rooms if you need extra towels or a quick refresh. Have just spent a week in a tropical pool villa at this new resort. It is a truly 5 star experience. A personal butler attends to your every need (Max: you were outstanding). We stayed for 11 days in a sea view villa April 2016 for my sons wedding . Really good hotel, facilities and grounds are very well thought out and the staff were always very welcoming, with excellent service. Very relaxing place to be and they make it easy, helped by spacious layout of things like sunbeds and the large very nice pool facilities and beach facilities/ activiites. I researched all hotels on Koh Samui before booking this hotel. I was not disappointed. Everything you could possibly want is provided. The staff anticipate anything else & have a genuine desire to make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. I have stayed in some super hotels but this surpasses all of them.

Elegant and secluded villas and all the amenities one would need. The location is simply breathtaking. The small private beach has the whitest sand and clearest water. It is a perfect escape but there is also easy access to the mainland if you wish to dip into the action. There staff are very warm and helpful, particularly on reception and customer relations

Beautiful location with wonderful, friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful. The spa and spa staff are amazing!!! Can’t recommend it enough. The only downside to this hotel is the hygiene and slightly dated pool surroundings. The hygiene around the breakfast buffet area could be a lot better, ie, food covered up to prevent the horrendous amount of flies going on food and plates, really was off putting. Could be managed better to prevent illness. Overall wonderful stay.

I had a lovely relaxing time at the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff made for an enjoyable time. Lovely room and pool with the beach close by. A large spread was available for breakfast. A very nice start to the day. Occasionally I found a staff member that could not grasp what I was asking in English. I treated myself to a manicure at the Zense Spa. I regretted my choice as I could have done a much better job with a pair of nail clippers.

Just a short trip (10 mins) from Koh Samui airport. Taxi cost is about 500 TBH. Very new hotel and very very warm service. Everyone greeted us with respect and a broad smile and very welcoming too. The staff were very helpful and very pro-active to our needs. The hotel has very amazing views in the morning and has 3 pools. The Library is an amazing oasis of peace and privacy in a popular resort. You can experience the beach and other local attractions but retreat to the tranquility of the Library when you want some quiet relaxation. A truly unique hotel with many wonderful design features. We arrived at Anantara and was a little puzzled as we saw a double front door but nothing else. We were kindly greeted by a member of staff who then lead us to through to the door and to our amazement a beautiful rainforest/spa feel, with tree and water flowing at the reception we knew instantly this was going to be amazing place.
