Had a 2 week stay at this hotel and from the moment we arrived it was amazing. Staff are very friendly, attentive and professional. All the food in the hotel (and believe me we tried pretty much all of it) was brilliant. Short walk along the beach to Bophut Fishing village with more bars, restaurants and shops. Only negative was that the holiday ended too early. Would definitely go back.

Stayed at Popppies for 12 nights - what a wonderful place. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful - starting right from the pickup from the airport with cold drinks and face cloths in the taxi. It is situated in an ideal location right on the beach in the middle of all the amenities - but sufficiently secluded as to believe you were in a little oasis cut off from the rest of the busy resort. Loved the little personal touches of the place and its uniqueness - would definitely recommend...

What a lovely place to stay. Such a warm and friendly welcome when i arrived. The hut that i stayed in was absolutely perfect and beautifully furnished, had everything i needed plus more. When i leave the hut i got a real feeling of being in the jungle. When i asked at reception how far the nearest shop was, the lady straight away offered me a lift in her car which was really nice even though it wasnt that far. What a place! The location is high up on a mountain with amazing views. You are given round the clock usage of private cars which the drivers take you where you want to go, mostlyis courtsey. Each villa is individual and all with traditional Thai decor. We stayed in Camellia villa which has fantastic ocean views and it’s own plunge pool. The villa was fully equipped with everything you would need along with special touches of oriental flowers and fruit. Water was placed in your fridge every day...

We went here for our honeymoon and had an absolutely amazing stay - a beautifully designed hotel and spa and not too busy or crowded. Staff were extremely friendly.

This is a lovely property with a great bunch of staff. Room was spacious and kept clean. It’s a bit further from fisherman’s village than I anticipated but exceptional we’re always happy to arrange a taxi for us . We ate lunch here twice and it was great, good quality and served with a smile.

Our family of three (husband, myself and 7 year old daughter), have just returned from an almost two week stay at Kimpton Kitalay. We had an incredible time at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and we loved the nightly treats whether it’s a face mask or toffees. There is always an attendant in your block of rooms if you need extra towels or a quick refresh. I had a lovely relaxing time at the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff made for an enjoyable time. Lovely room and pool with the beach close by. A large spread was available for breakfast. A very nice start to the day. Occasionally I found a staff member that could not grasp what I was asking in English. I treated myself to a manicure at the Zense Spa. I regretted my choice as I could have done a much better job with a pair of nail clippers.

I researched all hotels on Koh Samui before booking this hotel. I was not disappointed. Everything you could possibly want is provided. The staff anticipate anything else & have a genuine desire to make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. I have stayed in some super hotels but this surpasses all of them.

Many years, Banyan tree always look after us well. Extremely helpful staff, always make us feel welcomed. Great facilities. Mom and me enjoyed the yoga class. Dad enjoyed the beautiful beach. Thank you, banyan tree, gave us a wonderful quite family time.

Beautiful location with wonderful, friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful. The spa and spa staff are amazing!!! Can’t recommend it enough. The only downside to this hotel is the hygiene and slightly dated pool surroundings. The hygiene around the breakfast buffet area could be a lot better, ie, food covered up to prevent the horrendous amount of flies going on food and plates, really was off putting. Could be managed better to prevent illness. Overall wonderful stay.

The Resort was excellent. The Villas were beautifully kept with some unique features which made it very special. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. It had a magical feeling in the evening looking out at the sea with a beautiful breeze. I would thoroughly recommend this wonderful place to anyone

Just a short trip (10 mins) from Koh Samui airport. Taxi cost is about 500 TBH. Very new hotel and very very warm service. Everyone greeted us with respect and a broad smile and very welcoming too. The staff were very helpful and very pro-active to our needs. The hotel has very amazing views in the morning and has 3 pools. Kids loved in the pool and 1 pool is veen fresh water with no chlorine impacting the eyes. Evenings at the pool they have a projector where movies are shown is a realy nice...

Lovely modern room. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Had view of pool and sea. Stayed in 6 hotels whilst in Thailand on this trip (all 4*) and this was the best by far....very friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. Great choices for lunch and dinner. Had happy hours throughout the day which we took advantage of....highly recommend.

The hotel is located perfectly opposite a beautiful beach, and a few minutes walk to the best restaurants on the island and Fishermans market. The hotel service and hospitality was incredible and I can't wait to go back. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Library is an amazing oasis of peace and privacy in a popular resort. You can experience the beach and other local attractions but retreat to the tranquility of the Library when you want some quiet relaxation. A truly unique hotel with many wonderful design features. I had a fantastic stay at Jalmin Boutique Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Samui.
