The Montien house is a gem! Our suite was beautiful and everything was pretty quiet despite being within walking distance to a few clubs. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast was well worth it. We highly recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay in Chaweng.

escape the heat by staying here. right on the water with a cool ocean breeze. totally worth it to stay close to where it’s happening on the busy road in chaweng beach. love this part of town. love this resort. it feels like a jungle inside, the decor is lovely

Loved our stay here! We stayed in the cottage house and it was lovely. The airport transfer organized by Montien House was really well organized. But we had a leaky Aircon the first time but they fixed it quickly the next day 😊

I stayed here twice within two weeks. Close to the main town and Samui center, but when you are in the resort, you feel secluded.

I was very happy with this hotel. Beautiful garden setting, nice pool and restaurant. The room was very comfortable. The hotel is aging but they are doing a great job keeping up. Hope to stay there again!

Clean hotel in a great location

A very clean hotel with easy access to a beautiful beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is off of a busy street which is ideal as it is protected from the noise. It is well placed for accessing restaurants, bars and shops

Overall good stay and location was excellent. The bathroom drain smells so I had to keep the door closed so the scent did not come into the room. The Villa was okay but could use updating. The staff was helpful when my cable tv did not work. I had a late flight and was not. Able to stay longer than 12 noon so hopefully next time at least to 1 or. 2 would be appreciated since I had at least 4 nights at the property.

Ace location, a easy walk anywhere in Chaweng. The property is split between bungalows and a new Annex building, there's a swimming pool and restaurant right at the beach. We booked a deluxe room and stayed in the Annex building. The room was spacious and could easily fit 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids. They also gave us daily bottles of water and it was very clean. Unfortunately, although our room had a balcony, it was facing the apartments in the building next door.

No beach left

Nice place with nice location in relation to the main city area. However, there is absolutely ZERO beach outside the hotel. The water was all the way up to the walls of the hotel, even in low tide. So the pictures they have of a beach and sitting by the pool on the beach side is false. It is litteraly spashing sand from the ”beach” down in the pool during high tide. Maybe the water is lower in other times of the year but in mid january this was the case. So if you want a beach outside your hotel, you need to book one farther south on chaweng beach go get that.
