"Very nice design-forward hotel with a very friendly staff. Housekeeping was great. Location was convenient. Not offering coffee in the room is the sort of "we know what's best for you - drink tea" touch that would make me pause before staying at an Ace Hotel again. The coffee that I had to buy in the lobby was bad to add insult to injury. Sign me, Sleepy From Seattle"

"My husband and I are in in our mid-late 70's. I drove to Clinton Hill area to see our daughter. She felt it wise for me to get Uber for the short distance to the hotel at 11pm. When I checked out at 10am the next day, I enjoyed my walk from the hotel to her and felt perfectly safe. "

"The rooms are very nice and clean. The a/c unit was the loudest I’ve ever experienced in a hotel, and the fan blows directly on the bed. Some people might like that, but there was no way to redirect the vents without moving a piece of furniture in from of the unit. Service at the restaurant for breakfast was slow. Our server disappeared for a half hour and there were no other workers available. Tables were getting very frustrated. Great location and view though."
