Tanah Gajah was by far the most relaxing vacation my wife and I have ever had. From our villa with infiti pool looking on to the rice paddies to the private walled accomodation, the extensive beautifully designed gardens, wonderful food by chef Dean, everything superb! Staff couldn’t do enough and everyone, from ground staff to housekeeping to management should be proud of your customer services, a truly fantastic experience, my wife and I can’t wait to come back.

This is the most beautiful property we have stayed in Bali. We were very appreciative of a complementary upgrade to a 3 bedroom villa - especially welcomed as it was my birthday weekend. We stayed here for 5 nights and it was a wonderful stay. The villa was spotless and extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind. We were travelling with a small baby and he was looked after so well by the staff. The resort pool is in a lovely location, looking out over the beach. The meals were delicious and the hotel is close to some great restaurants as well. I would highly recommend staying at The Samaya if you visit Bali.

Just stayed here for 4x nights, Villa was nice and private and very quiet. Communications is done over WhatsApp which is convenient but someone is at reception if you don’t have WhatsApp. Breakfast was nice with a few choices, private pool was nice and clean, free transport to the square twice per day is also good although taxis are not too expensive. The square and beach is around a 20 minute walk away, there are some local convenience shops near by. Would certainly stay here again!

Absolutely amazing place -- so much more than expected. Staff were extremely friendly and service was second to none (bringing breakfast to the room etc, and it was delicious). The villa was huge, as was the pool, and absolutely beautifully done. nothing quite like waking up with a pool at the end of your bed in the sunshine ! The hotel's shuttle/free taxi to Sanur was great, available whenever needed and unlike some hotels it ran until 11pm giving plenty of time to have dinner and drinks out.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon. We were delighted with our villa, which had an outdoor bathtub, two showers (indoor and outdoor). All with hot water. We had a private plunge pool as well, and lovely outdoor area with a daybed and dining table. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly.
