Those interested in Hong Kong’s heritage should walk along the Ping Shan Heritage Trail in the New Territories, visit the Kowloon Walled City Park and go to see the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island, which, at 34 metres high, is the largest outdoor bronze Buddha in the world. The Hong Kong Museum of History, Hong Kong Museum of Art and Hong Kong Cultural Centre are also a must; all are in Kowloon.
Visitors should also take a tram to Victoria Peak to get the best views of Hong Kong. This is the highest point in the area, with the Peak Tower’s galleria being the place to go for phenomenal views.
