"Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced...

"A charming village inn with comfortable and spacious room, amble and tasty traditional breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff & locals, and delicious evening meals. Great value for money too."
"I loved this experience! It was clean, quiet, charming and the staff were delightful. Would I stay again though? If I ever get an opportunity to be in the area again, I will absolutely stay here! "

Hexham is a great town, with excellent food and drink, lots of shops, the Abbey, all very walkable and easy to get to by bus or train.

Hexham is a lovely little market town a short drive from the hotel. Hadrian's Wall close too, beautiful Northumberland countryside.

We visited the town following our stay. We found the Abbey very interesting but the rest of the town (in the short time we had) was just a bit disappointing. I'm sure it would appear better in the spring and summer!

Hexham is a lovely small town but like other places has been hit by the events of the past few years.

Interesting place. Loads to see in the area, especially if you are interested in Romans!
"Hotel in great location. Not a far walk away from the city . parking was located right outside the hotel which was great . Rooms were very basic and were needing a freshen up . Bathroom wasn’t very clean and the shower was blocked and made the bathroom soaking wet . Reception staff were lovely "
"Very nice and modern hotel in the centre of Newcastle with everything on the doorstep. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the place was spotless. The breakfast option was tasty and plentiful and the dining area was clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have Worcestershire sauce as an option, it would have made all the difference!
The room was quiet (as requested) and the bed was very comfortable. It was very warm so the air conditioning was welcome. The only downside to the room was the lack of a fridge/mini bar to keep things cool which I would expect as standard. Other than that, I can’t fault this hot and would recommend it."
"This was my first time staying at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park but it certainly won't be my last. Lovely hotel, excellent gym / pool / spa facilities, plentiful parking, lovely food and drinks, lovely staff, lovely room with a huge window for lots of natural light. Highly recommended."
