"The kings arms was fine. It’s a busy pub in an old building. The live music is clearly audible in the rooms above, but having said that the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The carpet is a little grubby, but all in all I can recommend."

"The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. "We came to visit family who live nearby in the village, so it was very convenient to stay at the Red Lion. The apartment was great, the super-king-sized bed was very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets, and there was a great shower. Staff were very friendly and the apartment block is a short walk from the pub, so it is private and quiet. Would definitely stay again . "
