"Maybe it’s just the country we are staying in and the attitude is the same wherever we stay but no staff are happy, no staff are customer friendly and the little things that people like when away from home are non existent. An example being that when the weather was very wet one day we asked if we could borrow an umbrella and we were told that we could buy one but they had none to borrow. "

"The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean. However, the sofa bed was almost completely worn out and the king-size bed mattress was very sagging. They are due for new mattresses."

"It was okay. The window in the bedroom did not open; when I asked for it to be fixed, the maintenance man plainly said that he can't. They offered to put me in a different room (I have breathing issues and need access to fresh air), it was in such poor condition that I refused. The toilet wasn't securely attached and kept making a thudding noise. One of the sheets had old paint stains on it. But the room was spacious and clean and the unit had a fully stocked kitchen, which was amazing. Overall, a decent experience, but I wouldn't stay there again."

"Wonderful hotel in perfect downtown location. Staff are so friendly and helpful, with several languages spoken which is really helpful. Nicely sized room, well-equipped. Super comfy bed. Tidy and clean bathroom with excellent water pressure. Included breakfast is vast and delicious."

"The building is very unique as it is in an old bank. Overall, had a good stay. However, the room was quite warm as the air conditioning was not working properly. We weren’t offered a room switch. However, I was offered a credit for the next time I stay. But not sure when I will use it as I don’t go to Toronto that often."
