I picked this hotel due to previous reviews and the closeness to some bars and istikal street and a train station. On arrival we were lucky enough to get the top duplex which suited is for the extra size. Check in was very friendly and efficient. The staff even offered to arrange a tour for us along bosphorus river was a nice touch. Complimentary water was also provided. If i return to Istanbul i will definitely look to stay at The Story Pera again.

The DeCamando Galata, a Tribute Portfolio hotel was absolutely wonderful. Upon arrival we had an upgrade to a beautiful room. I had booked 2 rooms as we had my grown up children travelling with us and they ensured they had twin beds. We stayed for a week as a special birthday treat, and we couldn’t have hoped for better treatment. From the front desk reception to the housekeepers to the restaurant team, everyone was friendly, welcoming and apparently committed to customer service. Our room was on a corner on the eleventh floor, so we had a great view and a lovely balcony. It was a pleasure to return to the room at the end of each day. It’s expensive, particularly as prices are charged in Euros, but worth it.

From the minute we arrived staff were so friendly and helpful. We were helped to our room which was the studio with the balcony which was well worth the extra cost as balcony gave access to the great vibe around surrounding area.
