"I don’t take the time to review very often but this was a bad experience. I’d stayed here once before and it was ok so I booked again for three nights when I had business in the City. The reservation clerk was quite rude, so that’s how it started. I’m an older adult driving a Lexus. He treated me as though I were a potentially dangerous criminal. But even if I’d roared up on a Harley that’s no reason to treat a guest badly. He came out to peer suspiciously at my car license, and wouldn’t help me figure out how to get to my room . The place is a bit of a labyrinth. It’s a non smoking establishment- I almost choked on the marijuana on my floor. And by the way, no elevator so forget ease of settling in. It might be that these were prom goers, but my first night very loud guests partied until six am. Other lodgers complained but no one fixed the problem. Room was reasonably clean except no one emptied the trash can. I can forgive a lot, and maybe I’m just being sensitive, but being treated so nastily after a long exhausting drive really bothered me. If others don’t mind that kind of high handed treatment they’re welcome to book at this motel."

"The initial walk into the apartment was very nice. What struck me was the overpowering smell of cleaning solvents (clorox/chlorine). Other than the odor the room was well maintained. However, the restroom was a different issue. There were ants all over the wall where the sink and toilet were situated. Luckily, I had sealed containers to protect my hygienic items."

"First off the place has limited parking. First come first serve. Don’t park in the corner spot or you will get blocked in and can’t get out. Three stories and not Handicap friendly. Rooms are large and come with a tv, internet, coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Room was clean but could use some attention to detail. Meaning clean baseboards and food on wall. My coffee maker did not work and staff quickly addressed the issue. Loud noise from tram going by day and night. While at night it was loud also from patrons at the bar on the corner. Beautiful ocean view from windows. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. Very affordable with friendly staff."
