"The receptionist was virtual, so that was a very unique experience . Clean rooms and very quiet location , close to a beautiful park with a short hiking trail . Beautiful view of the water and city and right across the street from Cow palace and close enough to mission st that had a ton of great food . . The location was super convenient . The $50 deposit fee was the lowest fee I could find along with the $11 on-site parking fee . 30-40 minutes from the bridge the pier ‘ "

"This was our 5th stay here - a true hidden gem... simple rooms, but spotless. The front desk gent (manager? owner?) is a total class act - very much cares for his guests, looks after them - a true delight. There are large and small rooms - the small ones overlook the parking area to the rear, and are quieter; the larger ones overlook Judah St and the street cars/MUNI - we personally love its sounds: shades of Manhattan. We've stayed at a couple other nearby places - but the Ocean Inn is by far far our go to place. How about a 12 on a scale of 10? :-) x100 "

"Friendly and helpful Staff. Super nice Room was clean and comfortable. I stayed at the superior room that comes with 2 double beds and has a living room area with kitchenette. Kitchenette has microwave, refrigerator, , sink and cabinets. No kitchen utensils though. No elevator. It is just a 2 level building. Parking space inside the building was a plus Coffee maker with complementary coffee and cups 4 minute walk to the beach Pizza “Pasquales” right beside the hotel is really good. We checked in at midnight and check in was easy. We just called them when arived at the front desk and he came quickly to assist us. Nice area and surroundings. "
