"Stayed for 2 nights whilst travelling for work. It's fine, the room was clean and decent size and is air-conditioned, but... There's a bit of a lack of attention to detail in the fixtures and fittings... The bed was very squeaky, there was a worrying "soft" square on the floor, the en-suite door opens inwards in to the bathroom making it difficult to close and open the door when your actually in the small bathroom, there was a gap between the blinds and no curtains, so I got woken each morning by the sun streaming in at around 4:50am... I should say I didn't raise any of this with the hotel whilst I was there - so perhaps it was just this room..."

"Receptionist needs a refresher on customer service. Not warm/friendly at all. The card did not work one time and we called (she said she can't leave the desk) so we had to walk the entire way from the back. To be clear: I am not expecting her to leave her desk. Is there only 1 staff in this place? An apology would have been enough for the trouble. Instead? She said to not place the card near a phone. No sorry for that. I didn't ask for the reason or who is to blame. Is the technology being used by this hotel really that ancient? We stayed here to support a loved one in the nearby hospital. This attitude was really the last thing we need during this time."

"The radiator had pink dye down it, which was also found on the "clean and fresh" towels. I was asked to pay a £100 sercurity fee upon my arrival as failure to do so was going to prevent me checking in. This was not stated on the website at all when I booked my stay. Reception staff were adamant that it was on the website but no matter how many times I told them they were having none of it. Even the guests checking in after me were shocked so there's proof it wasn't just a careless mistake and misunderstanding of my own. There is actually 4 blocks to the hotel each of which has a different door posing a security risk!! Found a slug in my bathroom and crack in the freshold slabs of the bathroom. There was a dent in the floorboards under the carpet near my bedside table which could have caused me to injure my ankle and/or foot. The view from my window was someone elses back garden that could be accessed by others (so much for privacy when my room and bathroom window is literally in someone's garden). I would never ever stay here again. You get one pillow that you have to fold to get a decent night sleep. The duvet is as thin as anything. Beds are hard. Carpet is outdated. Don't stay here I don't recommend unless your desperate and beware they ask for a 100 pound sercurity fee upon arrival and you get this back 3 to 7 days after checkout which I'm yet to see if I even get back. Appalled is an understatement."
