Great as always

A short but very sweet stopover for us at this lodge. The staff are beyond excellent and offered great service, activities and fabulous food. So glad we stayed and suggest you do too.

We spent one night at Mohlabetsi two years ago on a 7 day trip round South Africa. My family didn't want to leave but we always had in our minds to return to this very special place. This time we booked for 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The people, the safari, the animals, the food, the lodges are just perfect. Mohlabetsi will always hold a very special place in all my family's hearts and will definitely go back again one day. I recommend this lodge to anyone!

A great stay at the Mount Nelson - exemplary service, wonderful afternoon tea with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Upgraded on arrival to a suite which got the holiday off to a great start.

Gorgeous George is a fantastic hotel. Nice location for the CBD, Company Gardens, various of the museums etc. The hotel has wonderful character, its full of art and crazy collections of things. Fantastic experience throughout

In summary amazing. Have stayed at some great hotels in the past, but this is one of the best. Great staff, food, service, rooms.... and the added bonus of game drives. Would highly recommend

Very friendly check in at the hotel - gave us a full tour and showed us the key features in the room. Excellent club lounge with drinks and nibbles during happy hour. Comfortable and well maintained.

Beautiful hotel in every way. The staff are the best I've ever known. Nothing is too much trouble and they all have a very friendly manner. The Concierge staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. The Hotel is perfect for ease of trips around the Cape and is only 5 mins walk from the V & A Waterfront. We paid Expedia the full amount for our Deluxe Surcharge room on booking and were informed that our reservation was booked, that there there was no need to re-confirm and that our room was guaranteed for late arrival. When we got to the hotel around 9 pm on Easter Monday, after a 9 hour car journey from Durban we were told that there were no rooms available for the first two nights; that we would be taken to a four star hotel elsewhere out of Rosebank for these two nights, and that we would...

We had a really lovely short stay at this hotel at the end of our time in South Africa. As a group of three our room was very spacious including having a little living room area and a balcony. The hotel itself is beautiful - it felt very clean and modern. And the staff were so lovely and helpful.

Room 61 at the hotel is particularly charming, situated over two floors, and with its own secluded rear garden. It has a very 'homely' feel to it. One evening, as we left our room to dine in the hotel restaurant, the door security latch fell off (I know it's not supposed too...). We placed it to one side, and I was going to report this the following day. To my surprise, the security latch had been replaced by the time we returned later that evening. The rooms here are in lodges, we had booked a Deluxe lodge for our stay and were delighted to be told on our arrival that we had been upgraded to a Luxury lodge with vineyard views. Once inside we were not disappointed! For the price I absolutely couldn’t fault it. The room was spotless. Staff were very helpful and allowed me to change my booking after check in to have a friend added to my booking for a small fee.
