Beautiful luxurious rooms in a convenient location. Chris and Mary were perfect hosts - friendly, informative, and provided a fantastic breakfast. Thoroughly recommended.

A romantic two night stay at the start of our Garden Route drive from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. The view was amazing, the property, host, sunsets and breakfasts were fabulous and we slept very well in the large bed. We also watched dolphins pass by which made the trip even more special.

Gorgeous accommodation with great breakfast

Nice room with doors to swimming area. Helpful and friendly team.

We booked this hotel in very short order and were not disappointed. Once inside the gate it is an oasis of greenery and calm. It's quite a transition from wide open non-descript street to find yourself parking by huge rubber plants and beautiful established gardens. The house is incredible and super comfortable - our room was perfect and very big! From the host through to the staff we met this is a friendly, professional and kind establishment.. we loved it and would have no issue whatsoever in...

Everything about this place has been carefully chosen to make your stay as happy and comfortable as possible. From Mbasa’s warm welcome to our spacious room, delicious breakfasts and beautifully styled and maintained property and gardens, we loved it here. Our kind hosts Jo and Alan were super helpful and made us feel right at home: thank you so much for a truly lovely introduction to South Africa!

Forest Hall is our “go to” place to stay in Port Elizabeth. Staff and management are wonderful, the setting is lovely and the rooms are lovely!

Hotel wasn't busy at all when we stayed, it was only for one night but it is during their winter. Beautiful hotel, we treated ourselves to the presidential suite for our honeymoon but it was very well priced! Staff were great and so accommodating.

Wonderful stay. Loved to have stayed longer

Stayed 1 night in maritime room , large room with a very large comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely and had a large choice. Very attentive and excellent hosts.

My girlfriend and I stayed here recently and loved it. The welcome from Wendy, Christopher and the wee doggie was lovely. We were disappointed to be staying only one night. The room was spotless with an honesty bar, large TV, air con, extremely comfortable bed, large bathroom/wet room, tea/coffee. On arrival we were given filter coffee and biscotti by the pool while Wendy chatted with us. One of the nicest touches was as we were getting ready to go out for dinner, we had a knock at the door and...

Stephen was a great host, very helpful & accommodating. It was great to be picked up from the airport. Room was clean & there was plenty of tea & coffee & milk in the fridge. Breakfast in the garden room was great & there was plenty of lovely food to choose from, plus a home cooked breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here.

Had a great evening stay, wished we had booked 2 nights there and 1 less in jeffreys bay. Accomodation was lovely, clean and ready early as we arrived before check in time. We also had to leave before breakfast so they made up a takeaway breakfast basket. Hosts were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

Decent hotel, room was abit aged. Mattress felt cheap but on the other hand the hotel was reasonably priced and in a great location. That said, i WOULD book here again

Great and lovely staff

Great accommodation. We had the 2 bedroom apartment which was brilliant for us. Breakfast great also. Claudette who ran the lodge was really helpful and friendly as well.
