Brand new property with clean spacious rooms. Ample storage in the room and large bathroom with walk in shower and Molton brown toiletries. There was complimentary bottled water although the tap water is safe to drink, and 6 complimentary coffee pods a day. We loved our time at this property and would definitely recommend others to visit during their time in Panama. Sure, the lodges are a little rustic in places but they are perfectly comfortable. The setting in the lake is beautiful, with a great pool, free kayaking facilities and places to completely switch off. I loved how calm and relaxing the place was. Sonia and Alfred are exceptional hosts I left feeling I was saying goodbye to my family very special ! The variety, quality of wine and cocktails are another level ! I had a wonderful fun 3 days here .Dan and Brian are great hosts , with Dan being an exceptional chef . I highly recommend having there evening meal even though it’s served a little late for me it was worth it .The lodge is very clean and my room was huge with an upstairs bedroom and bathroom ,stairs are steep ! As the lodge is all wood the down stairs was dark with a small balcony so not really used! Yoga mats provided for self practice. I loved the location with a little walk up to the lodge...

A wonderful place to stay - a beautifully kept tropical setting with views of the other side of the caldera. Very peaceful. Great value for the high quality of accommodation.

Quirky, although quite a few room we never saw another guest, great cafes within 200 yards of hotel and close to all your pick ups

Have to say the food was the best of all our stay in Panama Outstanding views from back patio Unfortunately our room did not have a kettle or coffee making machine where I did note others did.

I got upgraded to a gorgeous view suite thatvwas amazing. Great bed lovely facilities. Some small details can be better like some stains on couches etc. Bit old ironing board but it's minor. Bteakfast was a bit disappointing as manybsalty choices but no pastries at all. However the onelette was great and Steven was super nice and attentive.

The pool is small, but great and refreshing. The staff are very nice from ground staff through to the owner. There is a space for a gym, but no actual gym, just some mats and a few light weights. The view from the gym is excellent though, monkeys and iguanas.
