"Great place to stay , great location, great customer service. Only advice is to change the toilet seat because it’s smaller than the toilet and the curtains which are smaller than the windows."

"This Property is my absolute most favorite place to stay in boquete. Both the staff and hosts are super polite and attentive. The river is a must for me and it has not disappointed. The only thing I think could be an added bonus is an iron and board in the room. Back packers need this . However I know it is available if requested."
Bambuda Castle - Hostel

"My friend and I arrived at Bambuda Castle after flying from Panama City and it was even more charming than pictured. The valley was doing electricity checks, so our room did not have electricity immediately. But we had no problem sitting on the porch reading and just taking in the views. The staff was very helpful and promised to move us to another room if power was not restored by the time we got back from our coffee tour, which it was and in plenty of time. The main building had a generator. Our room was very clean and we never felt like we were in a rowdy hostel. The mattresses did sag in the middle bit and it did help that we were not in the bunk area of the main building. We did do a free rum tasting our last night, we also had dinner, brunch and breakfast. So I can safely say that they have very good food. I wish we had spent more time in Boquete, I would absolutely come back to Bambuda Castle and next time stay in one of the hobbit hole rooms; I told a lot of people about those. The shuttle into town is very easy to use, make sure you use WhatsApp and take advantage of their activities even in the rainy off-season. There were still things to do, and a few people around."

"Keeping in mind the value for money, this was our review of a 5 day stay in the over water villa. The Great: The property itself carries the weight of this resort. The villa was spacious with amazing views and the flexibility to spend 24/7 in your villa if you wished through room service, swimming, and water activities. Bar and Food were both great, from friendly staff to an extensive menu and flexibility to make substitutions. The spa is exceptional, situated in a tree house with breathtaking views and a variety of services. Seemless transportation from the airport. Where it fell short: Construction: While any property requires maintenance, the selling feature of relaxation and privacy in your villa is lost with workers consistently working on the decks around you or on neighbouring villas with loud power tools. No notice given or reparations for all the disturbances. Attention to detail: At this price level, and considering there are only 20 guests at any time on the resort, we had experiences like spelling my name wrong, dirty curtains in the villa, staff not following up. Additionally after 2 days of asking for hot sauce with breakfast, or sugar with coffee, it felt odd to have to continue to ask all 5 days. Consistency: I do acknowledge the resort on an island, and perhaps some ingredients are difficult to get. But ordering the same menu item or drink does get you the same thing every day. For example drinks blended or not, quesadilla meat flavour, and sides."

"Disfrute mucho de la atención del personal (moleste mucho y fueron respetuoso, eficientes y tenían excelente actitud), las habitaciones (me tocó quedarme en 2) y las 2 de alta calidad en todo sentido y todo en excelentes condiciones, la comida buenísima en el restaurante, y la ubicación súper conveniente cerca del pueblo pero en un lugar tranquilo sin ruidos. Único problema es el internet, y que las televisiones son viejas y no son muy friendly con las aplicaciones de streaming, nesecitan mejor WiFi y televisiones más modernas. Tenían cable y funcionaba bien pero ya no uno no usa eso. Deberían invertir en mejores routers, quizás starlink dado que es boquete y el internet no es muy estable y cambiar las televisiones. Recomienda mucho hotel, es el mejor lugar para quedarse en todo boquete y lo digo por experiencia. Volveré."

"The place was very clean had been updated, so that was great. The cafe attached has some amazing food and coffee. We came back from dinner to find NO Water in our room. Still no water the next morning, We could not shower, use toilet, brush teeth and No Coffee! No message from the hotel about water being off and a few bottles of water outside our door would have been greatly appreciated for brushing teeth and washing face. So, we left hotel very early next morning as we could not contact anyone for water or info."
