Esperabamos mas

El establecimiento tiene muchisimo potencial, pero la administracion no presta atencion a los detalles. Al llegar, nuestra cabaña quedaba dos pisos dejabo, y sin ninguna ayuda de parte del establecimiento pues tuve q bajar el equipaje y lo mismo con la subida del mismo. Dentro de la cabaña existian espacios sin limpiar desde hace cierto tiempo. Nadie nos pregunto al momento de hacer el check-In si nos servia una cabaña dos pisos debajo, con dos niños pequeños y una persona de la tercers edad pues se hizo muy incomodo. Nunca hubo de parte de la administracion ningun seguimiento a nuestra estadia

Nice sized accommodations for a family of 5

The location of the cabanas is beautiful in terms of views. It is great if you have a car and can easily go the 8 km into the main part of Boquete. Without a car it is a little inconvenient (it's way up hill and takes an hour to walk), and cost about $5 by taxi each way. The owners were very nice, and helpful when it came to calling a cab for us.

If you like camping......

This place is half a step above camping. The beds and pillows seemed to have been ordered from a cement factory. The mattresses were covered in vinyl and the bed sheets and pillow cases were as raspy as sandpaper. The kitchen was ill equipped with mismatching lids and pans. The wood floors CREAKED with every step and the place had a foul odor. I moved to another hotel while the rest of my family decided to stay and not try to get their money back. The owners live on the property and never asked how we were doing and seem annoyed when we needed something (like another roll of toilet paper). The views are beautiful but anywhere in Boquete the views are beautiful. I could have stayed but the hard beds, pillows and foul smelling sheets did not provide the comfort I needed to rest and get sleep.

Basic, but nice!

El Parador is located in the mountains above Boquete. The rooms are very simple, but adequate if your needs are pretty basic. We stayed for several days and enjoyed the included breakfast which was cooked to order and the cook always had a smile on her face. The grounds are beautiful and we sat outside on the terrace every night enjoying the views.
