Independent hotel reasonably priced for the area. Spacious rooms, would appear to attract working men, no problems, would use again.

The hotel itself is clean and centrally located for NYC tourism in Times Sq. the staff are great, breakfast included was a good start to each day and the price we got through Expedia was a bargain. Be warned that there is a migrant shelter directly opposite the hotel which can be intimidating as large groups hang around outside - the hotel have a regular security guard and the NYPD are outside the shelter all the time.

Really nice hotel with a pleasant roof terrace and great staff; the free coffee all day was a nice touch as were the free croissants first thing. Lots of interesting food options nearby - iconic dining at: The Roxy; Bubby’s and Katz Diner were all only a short walk away. There are good transport connections via the nearby subway station and it sits in a very friendly and safe neighbourhood on the border between Chinatown and Little Italy.

We had a fantastic few days at the Westin. The staff were so helpful. It was central for everything, especially the subway. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever experienced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stones throw from Times Sq so perfect for a four day theatre visit. Had a 44th floor Deluxe King room, facing south, with a partial view of Times Sq. Huge windows made it bright all day, but there are effective blackout blinds at night and there’s virtually no noise. Pretty spacious for one, spotlessly clean, and the fridge for supplies rather than annoying mini bar gets a thumbs up from me. My daughter and I had a trip to New York for our big birthdays, hotel was very central close to port authority, walking distance to time square and many other areas. Hotel staff made our visit special for us and are very helpful , friendly , professional and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would avoid 9th Avenue at night time as it didn’t feel very safe .

I really appreciated this hotel being my base. The staff were phenomenally friendly, welcoming and helpful. That made a big difference to me as this was my first time in NY, on a ten day trip alone. A big adventure. The mattress was firm (very important) AND there were feather pillows. Close to travel and amenities. It’s listed as three star. I see it as four star. Very good value for money.

It was just as I expected. It was not noisy at all (being so close to Times Square). I booked a room with a bunk bed and it was as small as shown in the pictures so definitely as expected. Stay was comfortable.

Lovely small boutique hotel in a great location downtown away from the main hustle and bustle. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and quiet with a great shower and complimentary toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities in the lounge 24/7 plus a complimentary breakfast of pastries and orange juice which was a welcome surprise. It is a little dated and could perhaps do with some modern decoration but this didn't really distract from a great stay.

The hotel was a perfect base for visiting New York. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The refillable water bottle station by the lift and fridge in the rooms were a nice touch. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice and close to WTC subway/PATH. O’Haras bar just round the corner too!

We truly dropped lucky when we booked The Carnegie Hotel, our first time in New York. On arrival we were greeted in a very friendly reception by Elijah and then by Alexandra who was a pleasure to chat to every day discussing all our adventures. The afternoon wine was always fun and the complimentary tea, coffee and snacks were a nice touch. The location is spot on. Fantastic location as the hotel is close to subway station so can easily get anywhere, but it’s in a more peaceful part of town. There are loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops around. Our room (two double beds) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend and would definitely stay again.
