On arrival we were placed in cabin accomodation, not standard room which we booked. It was one cabin with a wall in between. When we arrived home that night late, we could hear the man next door snoring very very loudly all night. So basically did not sleep all night. Very disappointing to go in a night away and can’t sleep all night. We I told the lady a reception she stayed why did I not go knock his door, really there is a chance this could have gone very bad. Knocking on some man’s door in the middle of the night to tell him to stop snoring. It was so loud he may as well been in bed with us. That is terrible advise, then ask me so how did you like the town. Standard rooms are brick so if they had of put us in the room we booked I would have had a good sleep and don’t have to write this terrible review.

This property is absolutely beautiful. My partner and I have recently chosen to stop supporting Airbnb and instead, start supporting local hotels and motels. Very glad for the Daylesford Central Motor Inn to have been one of our first. The area is beautiful, incredibly clean and comfortable, and service was fantastic! Will definitely be back on our next trip to the area
