The setting of the Motel is reminiscent of 'Old Ballarat'; pub on the corner (which has excellent food) and accommodation out the back.

I have stayed at Seymours on many occasions. The on-site manager is always very welcoming, efficient and helpful. The room I stayed in on this occasion (as with past rooms on past occasions) was spacious, clean and very well resourced. I will happily stay again at Seymours in Ballarat when I am next in town. Excellent location, walking distance to the city centre. The room was comfortable but needs updating Beds were comfortable, except the pillows were a bit flat and no extra ones were in the room, not a big deal in the whole skeem of things. Value for money though. It does need a good make over but you get what you pay for. I would stay there again.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, the room looked as if it was recently refurbished with the latest modern cons, A nicely finished bathroom with a lovley two person spa. Great family space, we will return.

The staff were lovely upon checking in and out and the room for the most part was good. Great heating with the split system. The only thing I would note is that the bathroom (shower/bath area) probably needs a bit of a renovation. Definite signs of water damage especially with the floor between the two. Vanity and toilet side were fine though. Also, as someone from a different part of the state I struggled with the chlorine levels in the water as they are much higher than my area. Eyes were stinging like I’d gotten out of a pool when showering. This isn’t the accommodations fault but it’s worth noting. All in all my stay was good but definite room for improvement

Just ok

The rooms were meant to have soundproofing but the people staying above us sounded like they were jumping on the floor until late at night and then again early in the morning, making sleeping difficult, parking was great and checkin instructions were great and the room was clean, bed was hard and uncomfortable. It was easily accessible to the things we needed in Ballarat.

It was a nice clean place, with a large space. I only had two concerns: On one of the wooden rails of the stairs wood is being rotted away underneath the paint, leading into the railing to move under my hand. Some of the metal covers was missing in the spa bath. Was a lovely place and very close to town, will be back to stay

Everything you could expect from accommodation that would normally cost twice as much, rooms designed for customer ease and comfort, with spotless cleanliness. I cannot find a single issue with Seymours on Lydiard and they can put us on there regular guest list now. Steve and Ellen.

My partner and I enjoyed our 2 night stay. We were in town for the footy and this place was so close to the stadium. We also loved that it is literally next door to a pub, super convenient. The place itself was ok. A little outdated but nice enough. The room was large, bed was ok. Great to have a kitchen at hand with the little things like a toaster and fridge/freezer being really handy. We had a spa bath and it was lovely, definitely best part about the room. The shower was good, though a bit grotty and leaked water. Big thing was I had to rewash the plates, cups and cutlery as they weren't thoroughly cleaned. I would stay here again, and do recommend it.
