Room was a little small, but well decorated. Air con worked well, excellent shower! The staff were so friendly and helpful, and you can’t beat the location- right in the beach! I’d definitely recommend it, and can’t wait to come back!

I had a wonderful time at the Marriot in Rio. The service was impeccable from the standard of the rooms and concierge to the excellent roof top and beach service . Especially the guys on parking who organised a round trip for me to the HSBC areana to watch the Arctic Monkeys . A driver was organised for me who waited all night to bring me back.

This hotel was in a safe area...2 streets away from the famous copacabana beach....a super market across the street...breakfast was great....plenty of options to fill you up before a day of sight seeing or lying at the beach or roof top terrace...the rooms were huge...plenty of room for 4 ppl...even though the hotel was goung through renovations it wasnt a problem....overall if i ever make the journey back to rio i would definitely stay here

The location, the Skylab and roof top swimming pool, the gym (which was undergoing an update), the Wave beach club, the breakfast food selection and especially all members of staff, primarily Joao Alfonso on reception and Carmen who looked after my room. All staff were great and professional at all times and were so helpful and always had a smile on their faces.
Please note, some room refurbishment is underway, so a little noisey during the day.
