"The Windsor Martinique was such a fantastic and safe location to both Copacabana and Ipanema Sandy and safe beaches. The weather was just perfect. The staff were amazing from the front door keeper to the friendly and polite reception staff and all the breakfast and evening staff were so welcoming and friendly especially Paulo. Breakfast was so delicious with just so much choice. The best cappuccino we can recommend in Rio De Janeiro! We will definitely stay at The marvellous Windsor Martinique Hotel again. The Hotel has very high standards. Thanks once again to all the friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent location and walking distance to so many great restaurants and shopping all in walking distance."

"If I could give Hotel Miramar 20 stars, I would. The location was perfect, across the Copacabana beach. A road separates most hotels and buildings, so it is as close as possible to the beach. A lifeguard station is right across the hotel with showers and faucets for feet washing. The hotel has a gentleman on the beach who sets your umbrella and a beach chair and keeps an eye on your belongings. On our way from the beach, the gentleman helped us with feet washing, and it was a strange feeling (before we visited Rio, we were in Buenos Aires, where, at the cathedral, we saw a video of the current pope washing feet). The gentleman was not involved as much as the pope; he was directing the water stream on our feet; nevertheless, it was a nice touch. The room was big, with an ocean view. The bed and mattress were extremely comfortable. I have a fancy mattress at home, and I usually find most hotel mattresses of lesser quality. Miramar mattress was better than my home mattress. The same I would say about pillows, bedding and bathrobes. Everything in the room was of outstanding quality and very comfortable. We did not pay for breakfast as we usually skip it, but I peeked once to get a coffee, and the breakfast looked phenomenal. All the staff were extremely courteous, polite, and helpful. I left a tip for the maid on a counter, but she did not take it. All in all, you will be happy staying at Miramar. PS The hotel has a gym, sauna, and an outdoor pool on the roof."

"Excellent hotel. Right in front of the beach so you can just walk in and out of the water. Perfect location as it is right in the center of Ipanema and Copacabana so you can go to either beach. Tons of restaurants/grocery stores/bakeries around so no shortage of food and Uber was always available. The hotel offers a breakfast to die for. So yummy and so much variety. The room was also large and spacious. All in all, wonderful hotel and I hope I can stay there again!"
