"Great location and the staff were very friendly. Food is of good quality and reasonably priced. If you have a ground-floor barn room (22) it is very noisy as the walls seem quite thin as the bar patio is close. I Would advise asking for a room facing the fields at rear of the property. "

"I had a lovely stay at the Listers Arms. The location was ideal for walking to the cove and further on the Pennine Way. The food was excellent both at breakfast and in the evening. The room was maybe a little tired and there were some minor cleanliness issues around the shower tray. These would not prevent me from a return visit. The quality, efficiency and friendliness of the staff could not be faulted and the whole team at the inn should be congratulated. "

Our room was close to either the central heating boiler or ventilation or something else for the hotel, so was a little annoying throughout the night as it never went off. Bed was lovely, big TV, nice facilities however we had no milk for the tea/coffee machine. The surrounding areas is beautiful and we had some lovely walks.
