"First time staying in a hostel and it was a great experience. It was the perfect accommodation for what I needed on this trip; a safe and secure place to rest my bed at night. Everyone was very nice and respectful of one another, and I had access to all the resources I needed (bathroom, kitchen appliances, fridge, etc.). If you’re looking for a low-budget, simplistic stay in Venice Beach, this is your place. Would stay here again!"

"Great location right on the beach and at the north end of Venice where it is quieter. However, our street level room had a wall of windows with broken blinds so at night we were fully exposed! Staff very politely told us management would move us or compensate us. Neither happened! Do not get a room on the first floor and don't expect to do much in the "kitchen"! "

"Great hotel a few blocks from beach and restaurants. The staff were so nice and welcoming. We enjoyed the bikes that they lent us on site and the free games room (pool and shuffleboard).. Will hopefully come back soon!"

"The hotel is relatively basic, it doesnt have air con and when we checked in the heating was on in the room which was unbearable. We checked in late and it was easy enough but we were told to be careful with key cards near phones as they could demagnetise. Reception is meant to be open until midnight but at least twice we came back at 11pm and it was already closed, fortunately our key cards worked or I'm not sure what we would have done! The area around the hotel is fine during the day but its sketchy at night, I wouldn't advise walking around in the dark. The walls are thin and you can hear everything next door, upstairs, in the corridor etc"

"Hotel was clean, super comfortable and very spacious! Really glad I chose to spend my money here and not some fancier hotel (with a much smaller room). Very comfortable place to "live" out of for a week. Felt like home."
