Perfect location, very clean, close to the beach and many many restaurants, easy parking, area was safe and clean. Just next to property is bakery and they start baking around 3 am… But for me 9/10 stay.

The Staf, and in particular the front desk lady who checked me in, were outstanding. So friendly and authentic. We were given a little treat bag which was nice and I loved the fires. Sitting around the fire at night is so wonderful. This is not a fancy property and maybe the furniture and the fabric blinds were a little worn but the location was great and we really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

You know you have found a gem when you walk into your room and it is spotless and utilitarian, with a spacious tiled shower. You walk 100 feet outside your room and your smack in the middle of some of the best bakeries, bars and restaurants in LA. What’s not to like?

The staff was so wonderful! Very quaint and charming property with amazing parking. Super close to the beach and they provide beach equipment you can borrow. My group and I had a great time staying here for our spring break!

This was an old school motel- modernized without messing with the integrity of the style and beautifully maintained. No modern type amenities per se, but they did have a fridge, air, and if you needed, ice or water- the staff gave it to you. They also brought coffee if you asked! Parking on the premises and free. Plenty of restaurants up and down Main St including a coffee/bakery on the premises . The best part was it was 2 short blocks to the beach!!! Worth every penny! We walked everywhere!

What a great motel, so clean and accommodating to all our needs. The location was perfect for access to Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach. The best part was the hotel mascot Akiera. She made our day!

From check-in to check out we were very happy with this stay. Very helpful at check-in for what was around and also personally showed us to the room. The room was awesome and was a great choice for our 2 day stay. They also have beach items to use as the walk to the beach is 5 minutes or so. The deck overlooking the busy street was actually nice for juice and coffee in the mornings. We will stay here again when we return to LA for events, or just going to the beach!
