"We had a very nice stay at The Pierside Santa Monica. The location is excellent—just steps from the beach and very convenient for walking around the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was fresh and very tasty. The only downside was the parking. The valet service is quite expensive, which was surprising since the parking appears to be in the same building as the hotel. Overall, a great stay thanks to the location and service, but the parking cost is something to be aware of."

"You have to pay an additional $38.00 to park in the parking lot of the motel. There was sand all over the sheets. Not worth the price at all. Will not stay there again. We were woke up at midnight to the guests next to us yelling, knocking on doors and banging on the wall. "

"This hotel is older. First the positives. It was clean and the room itself was somewhat updated. The elevator was so small you cannot fit more than 2 people in it. Hallway carpeting looks to be about 30 years old and the stairs were very narrow. The bathroom was clean but exceptionally small. The toilet flushed on the top but you could barely reach the button because there was wood over the top. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. "

"Nothing I would improve on. Clean, great staff, on site free parking, AC, fan, fridge, wifi, beach equipment, two blocks from the beach and many restaurants. We had room 7…great!"

"Staff and spirit of hospitality are in constant supply at Centric. Emerson's service for our birthday party made it perfect. He was patient and anticipated each guest's desires. He helped me feel like I was a great hostess! Manager looked for ways to help us feel at home. Location is convenient and rooms have great orientations towards the ocean and city - not far from beach - far enough to enjoy utterly quiet sleep hours. Nice facilities. Bar and food offerings are well prepared. Good for pleasure and working visits for me."
