"The front desk had no idea what was around the hotel. He did not even know how to get to the Ball Field. Close to old Sacramento. 30 minute walk to the Ball field once we figured out how to get there. Good neighborhood."

"I come here once a year to work a huge Crossfit festival at Discovery Park. This hotel is right next door to the street entrance for that park. The rooms are huge, as are the beds. A general breakfast of eggs / sausage / waffles / cereals await you at 6am, and the hotel is honestly a gem for the money. The only downside of this hotel is that it’s next door to a gas station where an abundance of homeless people hang out. Not sure why. The hotel does have gated secure parking. The hotel is an absolute killer for what i need for 5 days. The only downside is completely out of control of the hotel, and more of an issue for Sacramento PD / politicians."

"It was my wife's b-day outing and It started out great with valet taking our car for $30 unlimited, a dinner at the bar and grill and free drink vouchers. The food was great and the drinks were good. But it all started going down hill from there. The front desk worker Cheryl treated us like we weren't guests for about an hour and told us the little drink shop was only for guests. Of course she apologized when I told her we were guests but you don't treat people like that you ask first instead of assuming. Walking around the boat was nice but when we finally got to our room we immediately noticed how dusty they lamps, coffee machine, counter, and blinds were. At first we said it's an old place so it must get dusty fast but then we opened the blinds and after so the dust settled we saw a giant spider web on the inside of the window! That's disgusting because it shows they have not cleaned or duster the room in forever. I went straight to Cheryl and told her and she said "I'm surprised" and "we're all booked sorry about that." There was nothing we could do. So we slept on the firm bed in the dusty room. The next day we went back to the bar and grill excited for the food but it was a completely different experience! Turns out they had new chefs working that morning and the delicious calamari we ordered the previous day was not delicious anymore, the eggs Benedict were not cooked all the way you can see the egg white dripping down."

"I booked my stay using Expedia days before my check-in. You’ll be lucky if someone would pick up the phone at the hotel. I had to wait for minutes before someone came for help to check-in. When I questioned of the shortcomings, she became confrontational and said she had to fix a TV in a room. Customer service is shocking. One person does everything to save costs."
