"Great roadside motel. Absolutely unbeatable quality for the price. The room was recently refurbished with a very large and comfortable bed. Well-appointed room with fridge, microwave, and keurig. Lots of great food options near by. Easy check in and out. "

"We stayed at the Shore Cliff for three nights this week and brought our dog. We had a hot breakfast buffet every morning with something different being served every day. The breakfasts were all really good. Our dog had a water bowl and a blanket to welcome her. The staff was wonderful, so helpful and friendly. Our room was on the first floor to make it easy to take the dog in and out with a wonderful ocean view as all the rooms at the Shore Cliff. Apparently, the hotel been undergoing renovations, and except for one wing it looks like they are near completion. However, our trip was not impacted by anything going on at all, except enjoying the updated rooms and amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel when you’re visiting Pismo Beach, especially with pets and children. Its dramatic location can’t be beat with easy access to the beautiful beach below. Definitely going back!"

She knew we were a bit nervous of our room not being ready or not being in the right place, and she ensured it was ready for us and the right room and she greeted us with open arms. Made us feel so welcome. Gave us restaurant recommendations. Thank you, Dawn, this hotel is lucky to have you."

"Our family of four, including 2 teen boys, stayed for just one night on our journey down the coast. The reviews were good and I was worried maybe some of them weren’t real. I was also a little worried about some of the noise complaints. We had a lovely stay, staff was great and the hotel room big and clean. It was simple and modern design and of reasonable quality-basically a high end look with more reasonable materials that helps keep that much space attractive and affordable. My kids played with the giant lawn/patio games, ping pong etc and it was nice for there to be somewhere for them to be on their own. It was just a fun, low key place to be. I did a yoga class the next morning next door which was great and then we headed down to Océano Besch for a Humvee ride on the dunes. It was our favorite day!"
