Good location and the hotel is nice. Our room was on ground floor which meant people milling about outside our room window and also no safe in room which was a bit annoying. Otherwise a nice hotel with a perfect position on Pismo beach.

We stayed at the Sandcastle Hotel for 6 days/5 nights. Staff were very friendly. Easy to request for towels and other things we needed. Rooms were clean with great ocean and beach views. Hotel is right on the beach. Downtown is blocks away with many different local shops, restaurants, and farmers market on the pier. Loved our stay and will definitely stay again.

This hotel is nice. It’s right on the beach and a short walking distance to the boardwalk and strip of shops. Parking is easy. My only complaint is that the walls are a little thin, so you can hear your neighbors. Our room was located right next to the ice machine, so it’s starts getting loud around 7 am. Otherwise, the hotel is great and we’d stay there again.

We had an oceanfront room and enjoyed the view and the sounds of the waves every night. The patio was the perfect spot for a sunset cocktail. We did close our sliding door during surf school because it was located directly in front of our room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
