Valet and doorman greeted us with a smile and remembered our name each time we left and returned! Wait staff in the dining rooms were so friendly and very attentive. Beautifully decorated for Christmas!

I wasn't sure about booking this hotel, as I'd never heard of it. However it was amazing. It is small but that actually adds to the experience. We usually prefer larger hotels but this was truly 5*. Fantastic for a business trip - great location and great facilities - also a work space area next to the reception which saved me trudging through the rain to an office. Big clean room and great food and drink options

Always a brilliant stay at The Standard. Convenient location for both transport and easy to also walk to anywhere central.

Lovely clean hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Perfect location for transport. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. I wish the room was a little bit bigger and the shower was a power shower, having said that loved having a kitchenette. Will definitely be staying again.

We stayed in 'the level' which is their executive bit. Much nicer than the standard rooms which I've stayed in before and were terrible. A little gem right on Camden lock.. well done Holiday Inn express from our arrival to us checking out an leaving the staff could not have been more helpful, friendly or attentive to our needs.sretting thru the the front glass doors into a fresh smelling bright and airy reception .. with a coffee/snack bar and complimentary water st ation. Welcomed by reception team, room clean, comfortable and cosy. Great shower with l’occtane toiletries. Coffee machine, hairdryer, iron etc all in room. Parking available on site at extra cost but no spaces so we had to park on nearby road . Great stay overall

An excellent boutique hotel in a central location, excellent value for money. Rooms compact however have every amenity you would need. Another great hotel in the YTL chain (better known for Malaysian hotels and hospitality) so glad we can now experience this brand in UK. Would definitely stay again when looking for a Central London hotel.

Lovely hotel staff lovely. Wasn’t impressed that there was a 12 percent service charge added to two glasses of already expensive wine that I went to the bar and bought myself. Service charge should only be allowed when you have table service whether it is discretionary or not
