"I was a huge fan of Brookmere and I will go back. However, I was quite sad to see every trip resulted in more issues than the last. I suspect the hotel is very thinly staffed because the issues stemmed from lack of care rather than poor facilities. e.g. Housekeeping would clean the bathroom but leave all the hair on the floor, repeatedly. The cleaning was very much at eye level only. It was not great to check in to a hotel room and notice other people’s hair on the bathroom floor. The next day, my hair stayed on the bathroom floor. e.g. Phones do not work. TVs do not work. I asked to reset the TVs in my room (there were 2 in that room type), they reset one."

"While the hotel is lovely to look at and appears to be clean, we did encounter some problems worth noting. We found a large stain on the top sheet on one of the beds which was upsetting. There was never any water in the room and we were told consistently that they ran out and the supply had not been received yet. I think the biggest problem for us was the breakfast which was $22 all you can eat or as little as you can eat. We are not big eaters so spending $55 (this includes a tip) for a huge breakfast is a waste of money. I did note that other hotels offered free breakfast so that is something that would, in my mind, be beneficial to this hotel. Lastly and not highly important, there were no tissues in the tissue box, no closets except for a rack where they placed 6 hangers. The highlight of the hotel though was Conan who works at the front desk. He was very knowledgeable about restaurants, locations, directions, etc. and always approached us with a smile on his face.....a gem!"
