Rooms are bland and very generic. Not much character. Sink in the bathroom had missing caulk around it and looked like an old repair was not done correctly. Litter in the hallway when we arrived and still there when we left. Housekeeping items just stored in the hallway with a roll out bed, vacuums, etc. Just looked cluttered. Overall it was not a bad overnight stay and the location is nice.

The setting is gorgeous! It’s very picturesque. The food and service at the boathouse restaurant was excellent. We ate there for breakfast two times and were not disappointed. Check in was smooth and the room was very clean and a great size. The beds were very comfortable. I suggest turning off the heating system at night because it makes a huge amount of noise. Really loud!! The bathroom is spacious but the shower has very low water pressure and it’s hard to regulate the temperature. The only weird thing was the smell in the hallways. Think pet store. It’s quite overwhelming and unpleasant but all is well once you get into your room.
