Room was well appointed. Nice view of Mirror lake from room 207. opportunity for improvement: Sliding bathroom door did not stay closed tightly. Always opened 2-4 inches.

This was a very nice place to stay. I stayed here only for a night, but really wish I would have stayed here for more than one. My friends and I checked in late (11:00pm approx) because we were coming from far away. The lady who was there at that time (forgot her name) was very polite and friendly. We left the hotel before the check out time because we were gonna go hiking and we needed it to start super early. At the time we left, breakfast was still not served, but the kind lady at the front desk went to the kitchen and got us some waffles, apples, and yogurt (that was very thoughtful). The hotel was clean, everything was organized, rooms were spacious, bathroom was also clean. I really liked the vibes of this place and would definitely go back again when visiting Lake Placid.
