I was skeptical given some of the others reviews, but I noted they were from 5 years ago. I found our room to be clean, freshly redone/painted, and the building in great condition. An easy walk to downtown. Parking here was easy and convenient. Great views! It was early season and the grounds had not yet gotten their spring spruce up. My only criticism is that the in-room coffee was not up to me standards. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was a great size and had a great view. The beds were comfortable.However we found that the plugs on the lamps didn’t hold our plugs too well, and I couldn’t figure out the coffee maker. Other than that it was great stay.Not enough outlets if both people have medical equipment and electronic devices.

Needs Some Updating
This is a no-frills sister hotel to the High Peaks. I was hoping for more High Peaks quality, though. The tub was dirty and old and the pool area really needs some work. All in all, the kids had fun and it was the price we needed for an overnight hockey tournament stay.
