It was a no-contact check-in, so I never saw any staff, and I couldn't ask questions.
I loved the dark and quiet and peace.
My only disappointment was that, as I was there on an off-season Sunday, the restaurant wasn't open. I'd eaten there some years ago, and loved it. I hope to get there again.
I love how dog friendly the property is. Baxter, Potato and Lady are super cute and sweet. The staff was friendly and accommodating when we needed anything.
This was our first time staying at the Hungry Trout. We really enjoyed the view from our room. The grounds were quiet and the restaurant was conveniently close. We have made another reservation for next year.
