"We had a wonderful weekend at the Eastwind- itโs a great independent property with very cute, uniquely decorated rooms. We particularly enjoyed the nightly fire pit where we could meet other travelers and make sโmores with the provided kits. The coffee in the morning also provided a great opportunity to gather recommendations for the day from the staff and other travelers. Itโs very convenient to the downtown/Main Street area and highways. Iโd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Lake Placid!"

"Very fresh lodge. Well maintained, and has very good atmosphere. My fiancee wants to come back again if we ever gets to stay in Lake Placid again. The breakfast was good, and it offers nice fireplace area for rest. The hotel provides good amenities, good towels, and the bed was comfy and clean."
